Flood Wreaks Havoc in Ogbomoso, as Houses Submerged

Houses have been submerged as a result of heavy flood recorded in Ogbomoso, northern part of Oyo State.

It was gathered that heavy downpour was recorded in some parts of the city between Wednesday and Thursday morning.

It was learnt that Ora River, which traverses the eastern part of the city, got its bank overflown, causing the flooding.

Some of the areas affected included Isale Ora and Aduinin.

It was further learnt that a Cherubim and Seraphim church building and a wooden store for selling planks near the bank of the river were completely submerged.

Other properties were also affected by the flood.
