Oyo State Governor, ‘Seyi Makinde has approved the recruitment of additional 800 workers into the state Civil Service.
The Chairman of the State Civil Service Commission, Alhaji Kamorudeen Aderibigbe made this development known in an interview with BCOS News reporter, Adebayo Abdur-Rofih.
Alhaji Aderibigbe who stated that the commission will soon come out with the procedure for the recruitment noted that the measure was a way of reducing unemployment in the state.
While highlighting the commitments of the Governor Makinde led administration to positively engaging the people, Alhaji Aderibigbe said no previous administration has a record like the current government.
He further stressed that the government did not wait till the tail end of the administration before the recruitment exercise like others would do, adding that it takes a rare magnanimity to employ workers at a time the wages are being reviewed upward.
