The first batch of youths to be trained in Agribusiness by the Oyo State government have safely arrived at the International Skill Acquisition Center in Nasarawa State and have commenced the training programme.
In series of pictures and videos shared on social media by various participants, the trainees were seen attending workshops and seminars, eating, and sleeping.
Recall that last month, the Oyo State Government signed a memorandum of understanding with the CSS Global Integrated Farms in Nasarawa State to train 3,300 youths from the state on agriculture and agribusiness as part of measures being taken by his administration to address the challenges of youth unrest and youth unemployment.
The training which commenced on the 1st of August is expected to last for two weeks with 150 participants for every batch.
