Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde says he would officially announce Sen. Lekan Balogun as the new Olubadan of Ibadanland, on Monday, 14th February 2022.
He said this at the final funeral rite of Olubadan, Oba Saliu Adetunji who was given a state burial today at the Obafemi Awolowo Stadium, Ibadan.
Deputy governor Rauf Olaniyan, former Oyo State Governor and Osi Olubadan of Ibadanland, High Chief Sen. Rashidi Ladoja, and PDP Deputy National Chairman (South), Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja’s, among other dignitaries graced the event.
