The Oyo state Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde has said 231 tests have been conducted so far at the drive-through/walk-through testing centre located at Adamasingba Stadium in Ibadan.
Governor Makinde disclosed this via his official Twitter handle on Monday where he said the state COVID-19 task force is working towards increasing its operations to testing ten thousand residents of Oyo state within the shortest possible time.
He urged people who believed they could have come into contact with a COVID-19 case in Oyo State or people who returned to Nigeria from abroad within the last one month to call the Emergency Operations Centre lines for the ongoing drive through/walk through testing.
Governor Makinde, however, harped that gatherings in Oyo state remain proscribed.
