The Oyo State Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism, Dr Wasiu Olatubosun, has disclosed that Governor Seyi Makinde will meet with Oke-Ogun residents after flagging off the official launch of the Saki-Ogbooro road and some other projects under the Oyo State Agribusiness Development Agency (OYSADA) himself.
The Commissioner shared this information today and also added that the events that day will all be broadcast live by Agidigbo FM, JFM, Gravity FM. He also said that the State Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism’s radio station; Aloore Online Radio will also broadcast live transmissions of the programs.
Dr Olatubosun called on Oke-Ogun residents to come out en-masse as this was an opportunity to meet the governor and relay the issues they’re facing directly to him, adding that the meeting will give them the opportunity to exchange ideas, pose questions and get direct feedback from the Oyo State administration about how policies affect them in Oke-Ogun.
“The event is an opportunity to meet the governor and exchange ideas about the activities, programmes and policies of the government. like I use to say, this is a government that always factors in the needs of the people as its policy standpoint, the people wanted local government election, it has been done and every local government now has its own Chairman, that is the first point of development at the rural areas.”
“For the ease of following the event as it goes, our people from anywhere in the Oke-Ogun axis and everywhere in Oyo State can follow the live transmission on Agidigbo FM, JFM, Gravity FM and Aloore online Radio, we also call on the people of Oke-Ogun to come out and partake in the programme, as the governor will go straight to the hall after commissioning the OYSADA projects and flagging off the Saki-Ogbooro road.” he said.
