The Executive Chairman of Oyo State Road Transport Management Authority (OYRTMA), Dr. Akin Fagbemi has been named the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) Ambassador in the state.
He received his appointment today, Wednesday, March 9, 2022.
The NDLEA said his ambassadorship is aimed at tackling illicit drugs across Oyo state.
The Oyo State Commander of NDLEA Narcotics, Abdullahi Saeed said the agency went round the state before narrowing down on the choice of Akin Fagbemi.
Meanwhile, he said the War Against Drug Abuse (WADA) and illicit trafficking, would be more effective through the collaboration with OYRTMA.
