Update on OyoSubeb Recruitment
The Oyo State Government has announced today, that 7,000 successful teachers will receive their employment letters by the end of October, 2024.
This recruitment drive is part of Governor Seyi Makinde’s efforts to improve education in the state.
During a press briefing on Friday, October 4, 2024, Oyo State Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Prince Dotun Oyelade, confirmed that the successful candidates will receive their employment letters by the end of this month.
Out of the 46,000 applicants who participated in the computer-based test, 7,000 have been selected for recruitment.
“This new intake of teachers surpasses the 5,000 secondary school teachers hired during Governor Makinde’s first term,” Prince Oyelade stated.
