Amotekun, Police Attacked by Hoodlums in Oyo State



Officers of the Western Security Network codenamed Amotekun Corp and the Nigerian Police have been reportedly attacked by hoodlums in Ona-Ara Local Government Area of Oyo State.

According to report gathered from the Coordinator of Amotekun in Ona-Ara Local Government, Mr Adelakun, the operatives received a distress call in the early hours of today from Odeyale community Landlord Association reporting hoodlums causing unrest in the community.

On getting there, the joint forces of the Police and Amotekun received a strong attack from the hoodlums while four Amotekun operatives and some Police officers were brutally injured.

As at the filing this report, the wounded operatives have been hospitalised and receiving treatment, while investigation as to the reason for the attack is still on.
