Fire Outbreak Guts Akinyele LG Secretariat, Documents

Several documents, office equipment, and buildings were damaged in a fire incident at Akinyele Local Government secretariat earlier on Thursday.

It was gathered that the outbreak may not be unconnected to a power surge.

Many offices in the building were burnt and damaged, while documents in the affected offices were burnt to ashes.

As of press time, there is no official account of the assessment of the degree of burnt.
