Osi Parakoyi and Yeye Osi Parakoyi of Ibadan Land Mourn the Death of Olubadan of Ibadan Land

It is with deep sadness and a heavy heart that we, Chief (Dr) Tokunbo Olukoya and Chief (Princess) Adekunbi Olukoya, the Osi Parakoyi and Yeye Osi Parakoyi of Ibadan Land, mourn the passing of the esteemed Olubadan of Ibadan Land, HIM Oba Dr, Sen. Mohood Lekan Balogun, Alli Okunmade 2. We join the entire Ibadan Land in grieving the loss of an exceptional leader, a revered figure, and a beloved father to all.

The Late Olubadan’s demise is an immense loss not only for the traditional institution but also for the entire Ibadan Land. Throughout his reign, he demonstrated unparalleled wisdom, unwavering dedication, and an unyielding love for our land and its people. His visionary leadership and commitment to progress have left an indelible mark on the history of Ibadan Land.

As the Osi Parakoyi and Yeye Osi Parakoyi of Ibadan Land, we had the privilege of witnessing firsthand the Late Olubadan’s invaluable contributions to the city of Ibadan. His guidance, support, and profound knowledge have been instrumental in shaping the direction of our city and fostering unity among our people.

The Late Olubadan’s passion for education and youth empowerment was truly exceptional. He recognized the importance of nurturing the next generation, and his efforts in providing educational opportunities and mentorship programs have transformed the lives of countless individuals in Ibadan Land. His commitment to preserving our cultural heritage has also been commendable, ensuring that our traditions and customs remain alive and vibrant.

We extend our deepest condolences to the Alli Iwo family of the Late Olubadan, especially his children and grandchildren, who have lost a loving father and grandfather. May they find solace and strength in the memories and legacy he has left behind. We also mourn alongside the entire Ibadan Land, sharing in the grief and offering our support during this difficult time.
