At least 12 persons were injured on Thursday night at Mobil area in Ibadan, as a heavy-duty truck lost one of its front tyres in motion and crushed 3 cars beyond repair.
According to eyewitnesses, the truck driver lost control of the truck while speeding down from Liberty junction after losing one of its front tyres and ran into some micras, bikes, roadside vendors directly in front of Access Bank at Mobil junction.
Meanwhile, officials of the Nigerian Police Force and Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC who were on ground confirmed that no one died and those injured were immediately rushed to the hospital for treatment.
