As the primary election of the All Progressives Congress, APC continues, the election to select the House of Representatives candidate in Egbeda/Ona Ara Federal constituency has been cancelled.

According to reports, the election which was to take place at the Party’s Secretariat at Iwo Road was cancelled due to inability to verify the delegates lists.

A tweet this evening alleged that the incumbent lawmaker, Oloye Akin-Alabi brought a doctored delegates list and presented it as the authentic list from the National Secretariat of the APC.

Party members reportedly rejected the delegates lists.

Also, INEC officials who were compromised and seen with already written result sheet were allegedly arrested and taken to the police station, the Twitter user stated.
