FluxiTV is Here to Disrupt Norms in Media – CEO Olowookere

The Chief Executive Officer of Fluximation Production (Owners of FluxiTV), Dr. Emmanuel Abimbola Olowookere, has maintained that the launch of FluxiTV is to disrupt the norm in the media landscape.

Olowookere said this during the grand opening ceremony of the media outfit in Ibadan.

The event which held on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at FluxiTV media complex in Oluyole, Ibadan hosted dignitaries from Oyo State and beyond.

In his address, the CEO of Fluximation Production, (owners of FluxiTV), Dr Emmanuel Abimbola Olowookere revealed that the media outfit was born out of a desire to challenge the status quo and provide solutions to the myriad challenges facing the media industry.

“We are not just another media outfit; we are here with a clear vision and purpose to provide the best media solutions that will change the narrative” he emphasized.

The CEO disclosed that the choice of Oyo State as the preferred location for the company was strategic because Oyo State has got lots of talents and creative minds, “I may not be from Oyo State but I was born here and grew up here. Oyo State gave me so much and this is a way of giving back to the state.

“My passion for media began at a very young age and I remember I wanted to be an actor but life situations changed the course of my life. But today, we are launching a platform that will give rise to young talented actors and other creatives in Oyo State to thrive.

“Our platform is designed to showcase the incredible talents that Oyo State has to offer, and we are committed to providing a top-notch experience for our audience” Dr Olowookere said.

The Program Manager, Evelyn Ohiolei during her address further emphasized the brand’s commitment to promoting a collaborative environment for youths who are yet to find their footing in media, allowing for the production of high-quality content that resonates with and engages diverse audiences.

“FluxiTV is focused on providing a wide range of media services, including documentary production, film production, podcasting, event coverage, studio hire and more. We are not joining the bandwagon, we are here to disrupt the norm and our outfit is poised to make a significant impact on the media landscape in Oyo State and beyond.” She said.

The company also presented a live streaming app for locally produced nigerian movies and documentaries. According to the CEO, the app which will promote Nollywood is set for launch very soon.

The event featured keynote speeches from dignitaries who couldn’t hide their excitement.

The Chief Press Secretary to Governor Seyi Makinde, Pastor Suleiman Olanrewaju while delivering his goodwill message welcomed FluxITV team officially to Oyo State. He lauded the initiative, commending the CEO and his team for their vision and commitment to promoting the creative industry in the pace setters state.

Chairman, Oyo State Agency for Youth Development, Prince Adebowale Falana while speaking at the event, noted that the addition of FluxiTV to the media industry in Oyo State is a great addition. Speaking on the company’s mission in showcasing the best of Oyo state’s talents to the world, Falana said aligns with Governor Seyi Makinde’s vision for the state. He noted that the massive infrastructural development going on is to open up the state to more investors for economic growth.

Guests were treated to a sneak peek of FluxiTV’s programming, which promises to be innovative, engaging, and entertaining.

Other notable guests in attendance were Pastor Joe Agbaje, Zonal Pastor, Christ Embassy Ibadan Zone 1; Senior Special Assistant on Broadcast Media to Governor Makinde, Mrs Abosede Sodiq; Special Assistant on Political Matters to Governor Makinde, Hon Deji Ola; members of film professional bodies such as the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners (TAMPAN), The Golden Movies Ambassador Association of Nigeria (TGMAAN), Nollywood actors such as Prof Joke Muyiwa, Ayanfe Adekunle (Monsuru), and other stakeholders in the media and entertainment industry.
