Mr Bimbo Omiyale, a former Chairman of Ibadan South East Local Government Area in Oyo state, has sadly passed away. After battling with an undisclosed illness for several days, Omiyale was admitted to the hospital where he ultimately succumbed to his condition on Sunday.

He was laid to rest at his residence in accordance with Islamic customs. Prince Ayodeji Abass-Aleshinloye, the former Chairman of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON) in Oyo State, confirmed the politician’s demise.

Abass-Aleshinloye took the opportunity to urge Governor Seyi Makinde to comply with the Supreme Court’s ruling and ensure that all former ALGON members receive their entitled benefits.

He emphasized that Omiyale’s passing would be deeply felt by his political allies and those close to him.
