The Oyo State Governor, ‘Seyi Makinde, has given his approval for the promotion of civil and public servants in the state. The decision was made during a meeting of the State Executive Council held at the Governor’s Office in Ibadan on Monday.
During a press briefing following the council meeting, Prince Dotun Oyelade, the Commissioner for Information, announced that Governor Makinde had granted approval for the promotion of civil servants who are eligible for elevation to the next level after successfully completing the Year 2022 Promotion Exercise.
In addition, Professor Musibau Babatunde, the Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, stated that the Head of Service will provide further details regarding the number of individuals promoted and the corresponding allowances to be paid.
