Governor Makinde Pays Condolence Visit to Late Hon Ademola Popoola’s Family

Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State on Friday paid a condolence visit to the family of Hon Ademola Popoola, the lawmaker representing Ibadan Southeast Constituency II who died a few days ago.

Governor Makinde visited the Ibadan family home of the Popoolas in the company of the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Honourable Adebo Ogundoyin, the Chief of Staff, Otunba Segun Ogunwuyi, members of the House of Assembly and many other dignitaries.

Speaking to the wife of the deceased during the visit, Governor Makinde consoled her and prayed for strength for her, the children and the entire family to bear the great loss.

He noted that the government would be always available to the family to render any assistance needed and added that he, personally, would see to the education of the 2 kids left behind by the late honourable.

The Governor immediately placed the two children, Tope in SS2 and Esther in Primary 2 on scholarship through his personal foundation.
