Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde has on Monday paid a courtesy visit to the former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose.

Fayose received the Oyo State Governor at his residence in Lagos State.

Recall that the former Ekiti Governor has been recommended for suspension by the Ekiti State PDP caretaker Committee.

Hon. Dare Adeleke who heads the Ekiti committee revealed this when the national reconciliation panel headed by Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola visited the state.

Fayose has been absent from all PDP activities in 2024.

The last time he (Fayose) was in a public gathering with Governor Seyi Makinde was during the latter’s birthday party Re held at Fashola, Oyo town.

Details of the meeting held in Lagos State on Monday hasn’t been disclosed but a reliable source told newsmen that the meeting was part of the ongoing efforts by Governor Seyi Makinde to strengthen the Peoples Democratic Party in the Southwest ahead of 2027 “big agenda.”
