Reports reaching oyoaffairs.com have it that an Ibadan Mogaji, Mr. Jelili Adekunle Kareem Adanla has been detained by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), in connection with a financial scam involving more than 100 million naira.

A Turaki Adini from Oyo State and a chief from Ibadan were both detained on Thursday, and are currently being questioned at the Iyaganku headquarters of the EFCC.

According to reports, Saheed Osupa, a Fuji musician and the brand ambassador for the real estate company, Afia Homes, is connected to the financial swindle as he will also undergo questioning.

Reliable sources also revealed that the Ibadan traditional head, who would be charged with a crime before the week is out, defrauded renowned sons and daughters of Oyo State of their hard-earned money.
