It was gathered from sources that the incoming monarch’s full name and title will be Oba Sen. (Dr.) Moshood Olalekan Ishola Balogun-Aliiwo (Ali Okunmade II).

His predecessor, the Late Oba Saliu Adetunji, however adopted Aje Ogunguniso 1 as his royal title.

Balogun whose royal title evolved from his family compound name, Aliiwo; will be the second monarch produced by the family.

Meanwhile, Governor ‘Seyi Makinde, the Oyo state governor will today announce Balogun, who was a senator, a business man and an academic, as the 42nd Olubadan of Ibadanland.
