A wave of shock, grief, and anger is sweeping through the educational community in Ogbomoso following the tragic death of a teacher, Mr. Adegoke Fatai, who was allegedly brutally attacked by his own students at Soun High School.

The incident, which has been described as a “painful reflection of moral decay,” came to light through a passionate social media post by a user identified as @manlikesea, who called for immediate justice for the slain educator.

According to the account, the horrifying event unfolded when Mr. Fatai, a dedicated teacher, intervened to stop a group of students from gambling during school hours. His attempt to uphold discipline was met with a violent assault. The post alleges that the teacher was beaten so severely that his limbs were broken, injuries from which he eventually succumbed.
