Oyo Govt Bars Heavy Duty Trucks, Trailers from Iseyin- Fapote- Ogbomoso Road

The Oyo State Government has barred heavy duty trucks and trailers from the usage of the Iseyin/Fapote/Ogbomoso expressway.

This decision according to the Government was taken to protect the newly commissioned road from trailers that divert from the federal government Ibadan/oyo/ ogbomoso Road which is yet to be completed after several years.

In a statement, the commissioner for information Prince Dotun Oyelade said that the ministry of Public works had to quickly move in and block the road for heavy duty vehicles because the expressway was designed for lighter vehicles like cars and buses and not Trailers.
