Residents of Oyo town have expressed their heartfelt appreciation to Governor ‘Seyi Makinde for hearing their cries and sending quick help to the death trap federal road in Oyo, which has killed more than 7 people in the past 2 weeks.
On the state hospital road which happens to be a very important and busy Federal road in Oyo, a lot of fuel tankers and trailers used to transport goods through the road every day and as a result of the terrible condition of the road, a lot of accidents have occurred during the day and at night claiming the lives of people.
Sequel to the cry of the people and failure of the federal government to intervene, the OYSROMA Chairman, Hon Busoye Ogunlade with the directives of Governor ‘Seyi Makinde came with OYSROMA engineers and team to inspect and see how the road can be put in a better state to prevent accidents.
The residents upon seeing the government agents commenced work on the road have been relieved, that road users will now have peace plying the road with less worries about accidents or harm.
