Poly Ibadan Appoints Femi Olalere as New Acting Advancement Officer


The Polytechnic Ibadan, Oyo State, has appointed Mr Femi Olalere as the Acting Advancement Officer of the institution.

The appointment letter issued and signed by the Rector of the institution, Profesor K.A Adebiyi on August 1, 2020, became effective August 1, 2020, and is expected to last till July 31, 2021.

Olalere will report to the Rector on the day-to-day running of the Advancement Office of the institution and would be saddled with the duty of teaming up with some other members of the institution to assist in attracting grants, donations, endowments, scholarship and goodwill that would contribute to the growth and development of the institution.

Until his appointment, Olalere was a lecturer in the Department of General Studies at the institution.

Olalere expressed his appreciation to the management of the institution for finding him worthy to take up such an important role and promised that he would serve with the best of his abilities to take the citadel of learning to a greater height.

“I am highly excited about this appointment. It is a great call to serve. I promise not to let the institution down and would approach the tasks ahead of me with all the attention it deserves”, he said.
