An Islamic cleric, identified as Alhaji Wamod has been reportedly kidnapped in Iseyin, Oyo State on Saturday evening.
According to Sojuloore TV, the armed kidnappers had shot sporadically into the air last evening before kidnapping the man in his house.
It was however reported that a stray bullet had hit one mechanic in the area, causing the sudden death of the young man.
As of press time, the identity of the mechanic is yet to be revealed, neither have the kidnappers reached out the family of the victim.
