News reaching OyoAffairs including multiple social media reports, have confirmed the burning of a residential property in Ibadan said to belong to Sunday Adeyemo popularly known as Sunday Igboho.

He was said to have since moved away from the property, but other people, including children, were said to be present when the house was attacked.

It was not immediately clear those responsible for the attack, which could potentially escalate ongoing tension around Fulani herders in southern Nigeria.

Mr. Igboho did not immediately answer calls seeking comments about the incident.
