Three Confirmed Dead as Container Falls on Tricycle in Ogbomoso

Atleast three people have reportedly lost their lives in a road accident that occurred in Ogbomoso, part of Oyo State.

The accident occurred which happened on the early hours of Tuesday occurred when a container-laden truck lost control and fell on a commercial tricycle.

The accident occurred at Takie Junction around 9:30a.m. on Tuesday, leaving three people dead on the spot.

Those who reportedly lost their lives as a result of the accident included two female passengers and the tricycle rider. They were trapped under the container.

Sources said the articulated vehicle lost control while navigating a bend, causing the container to topple and crush the tricycle.

It was further gathered that rescue efforts later confirmed all three victims had died.

Efforts are underway to remove the container from the road to avert further accidents and restore traffic flow in the area.
