UPDATE: UCH Resident Doctors Continue Strike Action Amid Alleged Assault on Member

The Association of Resident Doctors, UCH Chapter have announced the indefinite extension of their 3-day strike action amid the alleged assault of their colleague by members of the administrative staff of the Hospital.

According to a tweet on their official Twitter handle, the resident doctors said they decided to continue the strike action since the Hospital’s management is unwilling to let the doctors get justice for their colleague.

They insist that the members of staff who perpetrated the dastardly act must be punished and that the matter must not be swept under the carpet.
