Hon Oyekunle Fola, the honourable member representing Ibadan North Constituency 1, has emerged as winner in the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP primary elections.
Popularly known as Don, the incumbent honourable emerged in a keenly contested election which saw him defeat his closest challenger, Hon Comforter by one vote.
The Returning Officer, Olawale Aremu while announcing the election result said: “Having won the highest votes from among all other aspirants in a keenly contested election, I hereby declare Hon Fola Oyekunle Don the winner of this Peoples Democratic Party, PDP primary election”.
Meanwhile, Hon Fola Oyekunle garnered seven votes to defeat his closest challenger, Hon Comforter, who garnered six votes.
