APC Candidate, Olatunji Encourages Voters Participation As Low Turnout Mars Bye Election in Polling Unit

Candidate of the All Progressive Congress in the ongoing Ibadan North Federal Constituency Bye Election, Hon. Adewale Olatunji Murphy has expressed worry over the turnout of voters in his polling unit.

Olatunji Murphy who gave his comment after voting at polling unit 27, ward 10 behind housing police station, Bodija Ibadan noted that voters apathy is not good for democracy.

“Yes, we have what we call voters apathy, and this is not good for an accent democracy. I urged them earlier to come out en masse to perform their civic responsibility.

“I am still on it and this is a bigger medium to tell them. This is not about one party, it is about the people. If you are sending us out to represent you at home then your duty is also here.”
