Makinde Visits Adelabu, Assures Safe Return Of Kidnapped Sister, Sons

Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has paid a solidarity visit to the residence of the Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, following the abduction of Adelabu’s sister and her twin sons.

During the visit, the governor expressed concern over the incident and reassured the family that efforts were ongoing to secure the victims’ release.

“We share in your pain at this difficult time,” Makinde said. “I want to assure you that the government and security agencies are doing everything possible to ensure the safe return of your sister and her children.”

The governor also conveyed his sympathy to the family and stressed that law enforcement agencies were working relentlessly to rescue the abductees and apprehend those behind the crime.

“Our security agencies are on the matter, and we remain committed to bringing the perpetrators to justice,” he stated.

Makinde further reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to strengthening security across the state through continued collaboration with relevant agencies.
