Abducted Poultry Farmer’s Son Regains Freedom in Iseyin



A student of the University of Ibadan who was kidnapped in Apete community, Ibadan has been released by his kidnappers.

Odetunde Ayodeji Emmanuel who is a Sociology student of the Premier university was abducted while he was working on his father’s poultry farm at Oke Odan, Apete community on Monday evening.

His brother, Olumide Odetunde announced his release, saying that he was released at about 7:15 pm on Thursday along Iseyin Road in the Oke Ogun area of Oyo State.

He said, “He is back with us now. He was kidnapped in Ibadan but picked up along Iseyin.”

Emmanuel also tweeted about his release via his Twitter account saying, “I was released at 7:15 pm today. I am currently with my family. Thanks for the prayers. I appreciate.”
