Former CBN Deputy Governor and the gubernatorial candidate for Accord Party in Oyo State, Adebayo Adelabu (Penkelemeesi) has praised Governor ‘Seyi Makinde for his developmental achievements since he assumed office.
He gave the commendation while speaking on a radio programme in Ibadan on Sunday.
Chief Adelabu scored Governor ‘Seyi Makinde 70% on road construction, sports and social amenities despite the paucity of funds.
He particularly mentioned the construction of the Moniya – Iseyin Road, Idi-ape – Ojurin road, the Akobo overhead bridge and the renovation of the Lekan Salami Sports Complex, Adamasingba.
Speaking further, he said Governor ‘Seyi Makinde has done well by providing Oyo State residents with adequate infrastructure and social amenities.
Meanwhile, when asked about his take on the consistent payment of workers’ and pensioners’ salaries by Governor ‘Seyi Makinde, Chief Adelabu responded unequivocally by saying that 100% salary payment is a normal thing that every reasonable government should do.
