Dr Rahman Adedoyin, the owner of Hilton Hotel in Ile-Ife, has been sentenced to death by hanging by the Chief Judge of Osun State, Justice Oyebola Ojo. This comes after Justice Ojo found Adedoyin guilty of murder in connection to the alleged killing of Timothy Adegoke, a postgraduate student at OAU.
During her ongoing judgement, Justice Ojo also stated that Adedoyin and two of his employees were involved in a conspiracy to commit murder and the unlawful killing of Adegoke. The prosecution counsel, Femi Falana, SAN, presented evidence that supported these findings.
