Again, OYSIEC Postpones Ido LGA Election as PDP Wins Itesiwaju Chairmanship Seat



The Oyo State Independent Electoral Commission (OYSIEC) has, once again, postponed the Ido local government area election scheduled to take place today.

The chairman of the commission, Aare Isiaka Olagunju who made this known on Sunday in Ibadan, the state capital stated that the election will now hold on the 29th of May, 2021.

Meanwhile, as the collation of results continues at the OYSIEC headquarters in Ibadan, the commission has declared the candidate of the People Democratic Party, PDP as the winner of the Chairmanship election in Itesiwaju local government.

PDP Candidate, Akintola Ojo Bolaji won by a landslide score of 15, 875 votes.

APC amassed 173 votes while ADP had 40 votes.
