Ajimobi’s Son-in-Law, Kolapo Daisi Dumps APC for Accord Party, Set to Pick Oyo South Senatorial Ticket

Sequel to the irregularities that trailed the All Progressives Congress party primaries in the Oyo South Senatorial District, one of the leading aspirants, Kolapo Kola-Daisi has dumped the party for Accord Party.

Kola-Daisi made his defection to Accord known to his loyalist on his official campaign WhatsApp platform on Friday morning.

It will be recalled that the young financial guru surprised all political pundits in the state last week when he emerged the winner with 212 votes to defeat the closest aspirant, Sarafa Alli who scored 107 votes during the canceled APC Oyo South primary election. The election was annulled as a result of over-voting.

Kola-Daisi lost out to the former Secretary to the State Government, Alli at the rerun with 145 to 185 for the winner.

It was learned that Kola-Daisi got the approval to leave the Oyo APC from the current head of the Ajimobi dynasty, Chief Mrs. Florence.

With the arrangement, Kola-Daisi will pick Accord Party Oyo South Ticket in the next few days and certainly will face, one of his late father-in-law associates, Mogaji Tegbe Olasunkanmi of PDP, and Chief Sarafadeen Alli of APC.
