The Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi III, pulled up in style to Benin City, Edo State, where he attended the 85th birthday anniversary of the Esama of Benin, Sir Gabriel Osawaru Igbinedion.
The ceremony had several traditional rulers and dignitaries attendance, who all got up from their busy schedule to celebrate with the Esama of Benin.
The Alaafin of Oyo landed at the airportAlaafin Of Oyo, Adeyemi At Gabriel Igbinedion 85th Birthday in a private jet with his entourage and was welcomed by some chiefs before he was conveyed in a red Rolls Royce to meet Sir Igbinedion.
The Esama of Benin’s birthday will be celebrated for two weeks and will be concluded on September 11 which is his actual day of birth.
A service of prayers which held at the Family intercessory Ministries had in attendance ministers of God: Apostle Great Bamidele, Archbishop Akhigbe Solomon, Bishop Osifo Joel Osaretin, Bishop Stella Sheidun, Bishop Shekinah Omorogbe, Bishop Sunny Iredia, Bishop Dan Ogbeide, Elder( Prof.) & Mrs. Tes Sorai, Dcn. & Dcns. V. E. Agbenmonwen.
A service will be held for him at his residence in Benin followed by a grand reception.
