Alao-Akala Mourns Political Ally, Hon. Adeleke, Says He’s lost A Bossom Friend

Otunba Adebayo Alao-Akala a former Governor of Oyo State and Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Elders Advisory Council Oyo State chapter has lamented the recent death of Hon. Ayoola Adeleke, a former member of the Oyo State House of Assembly between 2007-2011.

Speaking through a press statement released by Tolu Mustapha his media assistant, Chief Alao-Akala said the death of the former lawmaker has hit him hard especially as they were not just political allies but close friends.

He said ” Sorry, I am highly disturbed since yesterday I lost a loyal follower. He was a strong member of my political family.

The former Governor, consoled the family of the deceased as well as the whole Ogbomoso community the former lawmaker represented and all his political allies and associates as he prayed God to grant the soul of the Late Lawmaker perfect peace and eternal rest.

It will be recalled that, Hon. Ayoola Adeleke died recently of Covid -19 complications at the Olodo Isolation Center.
