ALLEGED ASSAULT: Oyo Government Investigating Mother, Her 3-Month-Old Baby – Makinde

Engineer Seyi Makinde has stated that the Oyo State Government is following up on the alleged assault on a mother and Her 3-Month-Old Baby by a SARS Officer in Ibadan.

Makinde stated this while responding to a Twitter post over the weekend.
“Thank you for reaching out, @TonyOjukwuO . We are already following up on this issue.” he tweeted.

In the previous week, a mother and her 3-month-old baby were reportedly assaulted by a Police officer attached to the Special Anti-robbery Squad, SARS in Ibadan.

This awful event was narrated by Human rights activist, Tony Ojukwu, who detailed the distressing and heart-wrenching experience the mother and her baby passed through in the hands of an infamous SARS officer in Ibadan.

The event was captured in a video clip where the unnamed officer was seen threatening to shoot a woman who carried a baby.
