The newly elected deputy national chairman (south) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP),
Taofeek Arapaja has resigned his position as chairman of the party, in the southwest.

Few months ago, he had been elected chairman of the party in the southwest at a congress that took place in Osogbo, the Osun capital.
