The newly elected deputy national chairman (south) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP),
Taofeek Arapaja has resigned his position as chairman of the party, in the southwest.
Recall that the former Oyo deputy governor was recently elected at the party’s convention that took place in Abuja.
Few months ago, he had been elected chairman of the party in the southwest at a congress that took place in Osogbo, the Osun capital.
It was gathered that Arapaja would be replaced by one of the chieftains of the party from neighbouring Osun in a yet-to-be fixed zonal congress of the PDP.
