Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde has condemned the killing of worshippers of St. Francis Catholic Church by gunmen in Owo, Ondo State.
The Governor expressed his deep condolence in a tweet on his official twitter handle on Sunday evening.
He commiserated with the Governor of Ondo State, Governor Rotimi Akeredolu, families of the deceased, the injured, the Christians in Owo, and the residents of Owo and Ondo state at large.
The governor who termed the attack as “unprovoked and barbaric” called on security agencies to ensure that the perpetrators are apprehended and punished by the law.
