Bet9ja Foundation’s Community Projects: 35 Initiatives Changing Lives in 20 States

Across Nigeria, the Bet9ja Foundation is making a difference by improving community infrastructure. With a focus on growth and development, the Foundation is addressing important needs, helping communities thrive across 20 states.

Bringing Light and Safety

In Akwa Ibom, the “Light Up UYO” project installed solar streetlights, making streets safer at night and boosting local businesses. This is just one example of how the Foundation uses sustainable energy to improve communities. Similar projects in Ogun State and Anambra have made areas safer and more vibrant, allowing kids to play and families to gather at night.

Providing Clean Water

In many Nigerian communities, clean water is scarce. Bet9ja Foundation has built boreholes in Imo, Kaduna, Zamfara, Kano, Katsina, and Benue states, giving people access to clean, safe water. These boreholes improve health, sanitation, and overall quality of life.

Enhancing Safety

In Kogi State’s Ayetoro-Gbede, the Foundation installed solar streetlights at a police station, helping officers do their job more safely and improving community security.

Honoring Champions and Inspiring Dreams

On September 20th, 2024, Bet9ja Foundation celebrated Nigeria’s para-powerlifting champions, like Silver Medalist Bose Omotayo and Gold Medalist Folashade Oluwafemiayo.
