The Asigangan of Igangan land in Ibarapa North local government area of Oyo state, Oba Lasisi Olawuyi Adeoye, has joined his ancestors.
Oba Adeoye died on Tuesday.
The chairman of Ibarapa North local government, Hon. Lateef Akorede confirmed his death to newsmen in a telephone conversation.
Akorede said the monarch died today adding that he hasn’t been buried.
“Yes, it’s true. Kabiyesi has joined his ancestors. He took his last breath this morning. We are yet to burry him. We just left the hospital not long ago”, he said.
Meanwhile, the chairman who confirmed the incident, said there would be official announcement soon.
