Oyo state governor, ‘Seyi Makinde has approved the conversion of all ad-hoc workers across local government areas in Oyo state into the permanent staff status.
The Governor made this disclosure at the official commissioning of local government house and staff training school, Secretariat, Agodi, Ibadan.
The governor further noted that he had directed the commissioner for local government to come up with modalities within four weeks.
He said his administration will continue to collaborate with local government administrations to ensure dividends of democracy are delivered to the people.
Governor Makinde said the building is the first modern building for the local government family, which is contrary to claims that his administration was destroying LG administration.
He said the commissioning of the building is a start of the renovation of the structures in the Secretariate.
