The Federal Court of Appeal in Ibadan, Oyo State capital, has ruled against the sacked local government council chairmen, caretakers, and councillors under the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON) on Wednesday, 15th July 2020.
The court upheld the council dissolution order by Governor Seyi Makinde and noted: “that the case of the Respondents (ALGON) was speculative and that the Oyo State’s case is distinguishable from the Ekiti State’s case”.
