A member of Oyo State House of Assembly, Honourable Ademola Popoola Segun, Representing Ibadan Southeast constituency II is dead.

Media reports have it that the 46-year-old Lawmaker reportedly died last night at University College Hospital ( UCH ) after suffering from Kidney related disease. However, some reports say it was a liver-related disease.

Before his sudden death, arrangements had been made by his colleagues to fly him abroad for more medical care.

Popoola was the Chairman House Committee on Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters.

As of press time, the state house of assembly is yet to confirm his death.
