Oyo state government has confirmed another case of COVID-19, bringing the total number of confirmed case to eighteen.

Governor Seyi Makinde, the head of Oyo COVID-19 taskforce stated this in a series of tweets on Friday.

He said a total of 453 tests have been conducted at the COVID-19 drive-through/walk-through testing centre at Adamasingba Stadium.

On Wednesday, the government announced the first COVID-19-related death. The patient died at the University College Hospital before the result of his confirmation test for the virus came out.
