Daughter of Onpetu Regains Freedom From Kidnappers

There was excitement on Sunday night at the palace of the Onpetu of Ijeru Kingdom, Oba Sunday Oladapo Oyediran, Lagbami Osekun III when his daughter, Joan Tomilola who was among the victims of Friday’s kidnapping, reunited with her family.

According to reports, a Toyota Venza conveyed the lady to the palace around 10:08 p.m late yesterday evening.

It was further reported that Amotekun Operatives led by Ogbomoso South Coordinator, Akanji Okunlola and his counterpart in Oyo zone, Fakayode Adebowale led the car that conveyed the Princess to the palace.

Joyous that his daughter was released unhurt, Oba Oyediran thanked the Lord, ministers of God, Chiefs and other dignitaries for their support.

The Chaplain of Onpetu, Rev. Dr Deji Adisa also confirmed that she was released to one of Onpetu’s aides last evening around The Technical University, Ibadan.
