Encomium Pours in as Oyo Head of Service, Agboola Bows Out

Accolades and encomiums have been showered on the Oyo State Head of Service, Alh. Amidat Ololade Agboola, following her retirement from service on Monday.

The valedictory, which was organised by Oyo State civil servants, was held in grand style at the House of Chiefs, Secretariat Ibadan.

In attendance were the family members, friends, associates and workers from various ministries, departments and agencies.

In their random goodwill messages, well-wishers described Alh. Agboola as a leader who will be greatly missed for her commitment, self readiness, kindness, especially her ever defending posture of civil servants’ interests.

Responding, the outgoing HoS, Alh. Amdalat Ololade Agboola, who dedicated her successful service year to God and co-workers, urged civil servants to give their unflinching support she enjoyed, to her successor.

In the meantime, the highlights of the event included prayer for the outgoing HoS, Alh. Ololade Agboola and her successor, Mrs Olubunmi Oni, cutting of the cake, merriment, retirement gift and photo session.
