ENDSARS: Police Nabs 2 Suspects for Allegedly Eating Burnt Officers in Ibadan

The Oyo State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of two suspects, a man and a woman, allegedly linked with the roasting and eating of the policemen burnt in Ibadan during the recent #EndSARS protest.

The murdered officers were deployed to contain the hoodlums who had hijacked the peaceful #EndSARS protest of October 22, when they met their horrible end.

While chatting with newsmen on Saturday, the Spokesman of the Oyo State Police Command, SP Olugbenga Fadeyi, said the suspects, a 34-year-old pregnant woman and a 43-year-old man have been transferred to the Force Intelligence Bureau at the Force Headquarters in Abuja for further investigation.

The 34-year-old woman, however, denied the allegations insisting that while it was true that she was at the scene of the crime, she was only given the body parts to keep by the other suspect, the 43-year-old man.

The 43-year-old suspect also did not deny being at the scene of the incident with other hoodlums, but said it was the woman who, without coercion, took the body parts from him and asked him for a piece of cloth to wrap them in.
